The village of Fontaine-Notre-Dame is a commune in the Aisne department with only 380 inhabitants. It is located in a very peaceful rural landscape. It is unlikely that you will stop here, but you should know that the church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is one of the main monuments of the commune. It was built in the 19th century in a neo-Gothic style, and is distinguished by its many remarkable stained glass windows. The cemetery of the church is also an interesting place to discover if you are sensitive to funerary art: it contains tombs dating from the 19th century as well as funerary monuments of neo-Gothic style.
