Saint-Georges-le-Gaultier is a Sarthe municipality on the border with Mayenne, on the border between Haut-Maine and Bas-Maine, south of the Alpes Mancelles. The town overlooks the Vaudelle valley. The town may appeal to lovers of religious heritage, with its 18th-century Saint-Georges church, but it is above all thrill-seekers who are attracted to the town, with its bungee-jumping viaduct and the Grande Savane estate, with its exotic safari atmosphere. On a more peaceful note, anglers will appreciate the large pond at Saint-Georges-le-Gaultier, where they can relax and tease the gudgeon.
