This commune on the edge of the Loir-et-Cher department has been awarded the "three flowers" label, and is home to the Château de Courtanvaux, one of the jewels in the crown of the Pays du Perche sarthois heritage and tourism. Take a guided tour and discover the history of the illustrious women who have lived and worked there. Bessé-sur-Braye also boasts a number of other historic buildings. These include the 19th-century Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church and the 14th-century Tour dédiée à sainte Anne (13th-century base). Attractive hiking trails, a second-category river, a campsite and an aquatic center also play their part.
