Watered by the Braye and Anille rivers, La Chapelle-Huon is situated on the Calaisian plateau, in the south-west of the Pays du Perche Sarthois and the Sarthe department. This peaceful village owes its name to one of its former lords, named Hugo. Today it has just over 500 inhabitants and its existence is attested as early as 1233. It is an essentially agricultural commune. To see the church of Saint-André, the old train station, the school and other buildings of the small town centre.
