The commune of 6,000 inhabitants is located 20 km from Nantes. The Loire River, which borders it, is fed by the streams of the Chézine, the Moulinet, the Lartus, the Berliquet and the Chaud. Once a rural community, today a residential one, an intense associative life keeps many activities going. It is bordered to the south by the marshes which ensured the prosperity of its breeding, and to the north by the furrow of Brittany. Take the long distance hiking trail (GR3) which crosses it. Discover the vestiges of a rich past: its menhir, old manors and old mills. The first evidence of human occupation dates back to the Lower Paleolithic.
