Monnières is a small municipality on the edge of the Nantes Nantes, 20 km south of Nantes and 10 km from Clisson. Monnières's written history began in 1400. Pierre Paillard tells us: " As far as prehistory is concerned, Paleolithic is rare, but present in Monnières by various lithic tools found in several points. Some can be reported to the Quartzite de, which refers to the oldest known settlement of the Loire-Atlantique some 100 000 years ago. " You can discover the landscapes of Monnières between river, slopes, bois, vineyards and mills, before making a beautiful stop at the Tuileries pond. The Moulins circuit offers a 12 km route of which 11 km off the bitumen for a walk of about 3 hours.
