Perched on a granite rock overlooking the Maine and its valley, it offers a view of the Pont-Caffino site. Remains of the Middle Ages, the superb temple depended on the commandery of Clisson, and rue de l'abbé-Ménardeau, a 15th century tower adjoins the former presbytery. A high medieval place where you can taste wine at the Château de la Bourdinière (15th century). Moreover, the winegrowers of Château-Thébaud have won the "Bouteille d'Or" (Golden Bottle) 7 times, rewarding the local vineyard commune. Also worth seeing are the manor house of La Placelière and the church of Saint-Martin. The Maine River, which borders the town, is ideal for water sports and its banks are ideal for rock climbing
