Located 15 kilometers southeast of Nantes, La Haye-Fouassière is in the heart of the vineyards, overlooking the Sèvre Nantaise. It takes its name and fame from the famous fouaces, a popular six-horned star-shaped cake that could be kept for a very long time. You'll find it at local bakeries and during the Fête de la Fouace. La Haye-Fouassière is also the birthplace of Muscadet-Sèvre-et-Maine. The pleasant smell of petit-beurre wafts through the air, as Petit Lu has been produced here since 1986. See also: a stunning traffic circle, which has charmed our local star, Philippe Katerine!
