Located in the heart of the Nantes vineyards, its territory (1,347 ha) is marked by wine-growing activities, which occupy about half of it. The main production is Muscadet and the majority of the vines belong to the AOC "Muscadet Sèvre et Maine". The town is one of the gateways to the Goulaine marshes linked to the Loire. Fauna and flora typical of wetlands are observed there. The remains of the Montru lime kiln, near the port of the same name, from which the canals of the Goulaine marsh to the Loire, testify to the boating practiced in the 19th century on the marsh. To see: the church of Saint-Eutrope and the chapel of Saint-Joseph.
