In the north of the Vendée, on the border with the Loire-Atlantique, Cugand is less than 30 km from Nantes to the north and Cholet to the east. A small territory of 1 350 hectares, bordered by the Sèvre Nantaise, major river of the territory. Its flow has been used since the Middle Ages as a production force, for the production of flour in the mills, for spinning or tanning, bringing the first industries of the territory, and marking the industrial history of the region (fulling mill of Gaumier). Two hiking trails, "le Chemin des Diligences" and the "boucle de Sèvre et Gaudon", allow you to discover Cugand and its banks of the Sèvre
