Located 6 km from Caylus, Loze has a diversity of landscapes that contributes to the beauty of this typical village and can be proud of it. Near the village, there was a castle at the Roque de Loze belonging to the counts of Toulouse, powerful feudal lords in the Middle Ages. In the surrounding area, twenty-seven mills present the largest concentration of mills in Europe. You can see and even visit some of the restored mills in perfect working order. Of particular note is the magnificent mill of "Las Vinhassas" where the mechanics have been completely restored. The mills were once real meeting places.
