Travel Guide Ussel

Ussel is a small town located near the source of the Vert river, between the Causses and the Bouriane. Here, a renowned cheese is produced: Bleu des Causses, a blue-veined cheese related to Roquefort. Nature explodes on all sides, offering a playground for hikers and cyclists alike. Ussel is famous for its open-air theater, where numerous shows are staged during the summer months. The Amphithéâtre d'Ussel association keeps the place alive. In the narrow streets of the village center, you can admire the architecture that is so typical of the Lot region. As in many villages, the church is a must-see.
