Fargues-sur-Ourbise is a small unpretentious rural commune but has the merit of being the capital of a great vegetable: asparagus! At harvest time, everyone sells it! And every year, on the third Sunday of April, this charming little village celebrates the vegetable as it should and becomes the capital of asparagus! On the gastronomic side, discover also its "poule au pot". On the history side, you have to admire the superb Saint-Cyr church, a fortified church from the 15th century, the Avance tower which was the hunting place of the future Henri IV and Saint-Julien and its church from the 16th century and its wash house. The commune is also a hunting territory.
