Travel Guide Concèze

Concèze, a very active flowered village, classified "3 flowers", country of raspberry and apples of Limousin, has a very well restored vernacular heritage and hiking trails that allow to observe the landscape. The municipality with local associations offers a programme of varied and quality festivities each year. The floralies in May, true enchantment of flowers, and the feast of raspberry in July, are the two lighthouse events that attract a large audience. During the festival of raspberry, a giant pie (Guinness Record 1977) is cooked under a hall that serves as a kiln for cooking. The Festival «Discover» is organized in mid-August, in particular by the poet Matthias Vincenot, a child of the country who says that we can «cross poetry and song, universe and styles in a spirit of openness and discovery».
