Tavel is famous for its rosé wine and for its limestone and silica, a marble stone that can be ivory, blue or beige in color. But Tavel is also a southern village overlooking the Rhône, where you can enjoy a stroll through the old town. Church, fountain, rue du temple, washhouse, gardens and chemin de la Condamine, 10th-century chapel of Saint-Ferréol, Tavel's patron saint... So much evidence of the town's rich past. To discover the vineyards, there's nothing like taking the Route des Vignobles, a 15 km trail through the 3 terroirs that make up the Tavel terroir.
