If you are driving on the A9 motorway, near Tavel Nord, be sure to stop there. Besides, it's a great idea for an anti-fatigue break! The Solar Nave is one of the largest sundials in the world. This unique work, created in 1993, is the result of a collaboration between sculptor Odile Mir, astronomer Denis Savoie and engineer Robert Queudot. On a large white concrete wall, you can read the exact time, within thirty seconds. As you walk around and inside the nave, you will understand how a sundial works and how time works.
