Rochefort du Gard is a town located in the Gard department, 10 min from Avignon. City which was part of the Roquemaure vineyard and the diocese of Uzès. Discover the 18th century chapel of Saint-Joseph (former town hall), when P. Palejay, a local bourgeois, had it built, replacing the church of Castelas, which had become dilapidated and not very easy to access. Stones from the old castle will be used to build it. Do not miss the Gothic parish church of Saint Bardulphe which proudly shows off its portal devoid of sculptures, the Angel's Fountain located opposite the chapel of Saint Joseph, only the pediment is original.
