Saze is a village located in Occitania, in the Gard. The first occupation of the land was a cave dating from the Bronze Age located in the garrigues de la Baume two kilometers from the village. It was a unique funerary shelter, 15 meters long and 8 meters wide, and it is necessary to reach the first centuries of our era to be certain of a true and fixed settlement. You won't miss the castle that belonged to the Thézan and De Baroncelli families. Rebuilt in the 16th and 18th centuries, it is located in the centre of the village on medieval remains with its round-arched entrance door surmounted by a broken, rounded pediment containing the arms of the Thezan family
