(Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry) Much more than one city, Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry consists of Ponthierry, the village of Saint-Fargeau and a range of hamlets: Auxonette, Moulignon, Tilly, Jonville, Villiers and the Lacs lakes. Located on the banks of the Seine River, the municipality is located at the gates of the Natural Regional Park of Français French and is crossed by the School. It derives its name from Thierry II, King of Burgundy in the year 600, who would have crossed the bridge of the School with its army and Saint Ferréol patron of his church.
