Located 25 kilometers from Dieppe. Fontaine-le-Dun has 900 inhabitants. If the Dun river does not water the town anymore, it has not always been the case. The town of Fontaine used to have a large number of water mills. The church, dating from the 11th and 12th centuries, was built on a promontory overlooking the village. Pierre Giffard was born in Fontaine-le-Dun, a man with a multiple career, but notably the instigator (among other sporting events) of the Paris Marathon. A market is held on the Eugène Delapierre square every Thursday morning.
