The village takes its name from the Celtic word for spring, clara. On the banks of the little river that runs through it, terraces await you to spend a pleasant moment contemplating the beautiful wooden halls. Clères, a charming hilly place (peak 181 meters above sea level), will also delight you with its authenticity and its beautiful animal and botanical park, specialized in ornithology and home to dozens of birds from the four corners of the planet. Thanks to its bucolic character, it's also a popular stopover for walkers and cyclists making their way down the Vallée de la Scie, from Dieppe to Rouen.
