Small town in the Eure with 1,302 inhabitants, the Hauvillaises and the Hauvillais, bordering the Brotonne forest and part of the Boucles de la Seine normande regional nature park. In addition to the Saint-Paterne church and the 18th century château Saint-Paul (now privately owned), the town is known for its superb mill, the last remaining active windmill in the region, built in the 13th century by the monks of the abbey of Jumièges.
