In its green setting, the small village of Urval is a well kept secret. Arriving by the town hall, it is first of all the mill's reach that welcomes you in this picturesque village composed of barely ten houses! The imposing fortified Romanesque church stands straight up, guiding your steps to it. With a bell tower worthy of a dungeon, pass through the portal with its arches nicely decorated with volutes (as in the cloister of Sarlat!) and walk along its basilica plan. If the church is closed, a neighbor will have the key! At the end of a few steps, a treasure awaits you: a rare 14th century "banal" (or seigneurial in the Middle Ages) oven. Surprising!
