A name that smells like the south of France... and yet in Cléré-les-Pins we are in the heart of Indre-et-Loire! A village that breathes tradition, with its beautiful 12th century church and its Château de Champchevrier, which has the oldest hunting crew in France. The name of the municipality comes from the Gallic clar (cleared area) and the current name Cléré-les-Pins comes from a decree by decree of 1936. The commune is relatively flat, very wooded and crossed by two streams (the Lathan and the Roumer) with a landscape dotted with ponds and ponds. The richness of Cléré-les-Pins is primarily ecological, with its varied woods, groves, ponds and cliffs. The municipality is full of fossils and game of all kinds.
