Euskaren is a range of teas and infusions with character, created and blended on site and by hand, with a certified organic selection and 100% local creations. Original, artisanal recipes revolve around the heritage of the Basque country: white, green, black or red teas with Bayonne chocolate, "Basque cake" spirit, Patxaran flavor, Espelette pepper, but also tea from China and India - darjeeling, white wings, or ti kuan yin... Their grandfather planted the ^1st seed in the 1950s. Today, Vincent and Simon Baille-Barrelle cultivate 10 ha of fruit trees. Originally from Mauritius, Stephen Begue decided to set up his company Mauri Saveur in Poitiers, offering black vanilla (otherwise known as bourbon vanilla) in all its forms to flavor desserts, drinks and savory dishes. Stephen has chosen to work with a handful of Madagascan producers, who are paid their fair share, and to offer premium-quality vanilla processed in Mauritius. Mauri Saveur's catalog includes fresh beans to be consumed within 4 months, vanilla powder from dried and ground beans, vanilla caviar and vanilla sugar. All Mauri Saveur products are available in a gift box on sale on the website.

The Maison Pariès boutique is historic, as it was the first to open its doors in 1914. 8 other boutiques have since been created, notably in Biarritz, Espelette and Urrugne. Chocolate makers for 5 generations, perpetuating the tradition of excellence and creativity. The irresistible Kanougas, small caramels available in 6 flavors, the 5-flavored Mouchou, Tourons, the Basque cake, not forgetting pastries, ice creams and sorbets, including the vanilla flavor, celebrated by Gault & Millau, and the latest creation, Espelines.

This family distillery has a long history dating back to the early ^20th century in the Alps. Its recipes for wild sloe, blackberry, mirabelle and walnut liqueurs have established its reputation. Its future lies in whiskies. The distillery grows its own barley, malts it on site and ages it in French oak barrels, producing exceptional local single malt and single cask whiskies. A gourmet restaurant will open in June 2024.

Did you know? Fronsac also brews beer! It's all happening at the 3 Tertres artisanal and organic brewery. This brewery was founded in 2017 by Alain, a native of Ch'ti! In the old Belgian tradition, he brews 3 varieties of beer, but that's without taking into account seasonal ephemera (Christmas, etc.). We're there to buy a few bottles of this malted vintage (of course!), a visit or a tavern-style aperitif on Friday evenings from 5pm to 10pm.

The Ô Sorbet d'Amour ice cream parlour is an institution that was founded in 1935 on the Arcachon basin, in Moulleau. Today, there are a good number of pretty shops in the region in the colour of acid orange with the first emblematic shop of the brand still on the promenade of the Moulleau pier. The brand has developed in Arcachon, Andernos, Cap-Ferret, Lacanau, La Teste-de-Buch, Toulouse, Braga in Portugal and of course in Bordeaux, 2 cours de l'intendance next to the Grand Hotel. A wind of modernity blew on the sign of this artisan ice cream maker with the development of the brand Ô Sorbet d'Amour in franchise. The gourmet recipes are still made in the traditional way; the milk is supplied by the last farm in the Arcachon basin, then transformed in a traditional way with fruit and high quality ingredients in the laboratory in La Teste. Château Filhot is a wine estate located in the commune of Sauternes. It is classified as a second growth in the official Bordeaux wine classification of 1855. The estate covers 350 hectares, including 62 hectares of vineyards. Château Filhot is renowned not only for its wine, but also for its vast English-style park created by landscape gardener Louis-Bernard Fischer in 1845. Tours can accommodate up to 35 people and are available in French and English. Appointments can also be made for weekend visits.

Pascal Prette makes his own liqueur and his lemon and orange peels and pralines contain 70% fruit! The workshop can be visited on request and courses around the art of chocolate making can be scheduled.

In the heart of the Marché des Capucins, at the stall of La Table de Don Quichotte, you'll find the very best in Basque and Spanish gastronomy, with exceptional products: superb Iberian hams, a wide range of cured meats (sausages, pepper-rolled ventrèche), generous chorizos, lomo embuchado and Basque specialties (axoa, piment d'Espelette). For a snack, try a Serrano ham crêpe, bell pepper and Serrano croques and Serrano cheese rolls.

The prune is embodied by the house Roucadil since 1890. In the store, you can buy them classic or filled. You can also find chocolate sticks filled with prunes, chocolate bars with fruits from Lot-et-Garonne (dried figs, caramelized hazelnuts, dried apples married with caramel, goji berries). Hasnaa, chef chocolatière spotted on the TV show "MasterChef", selects exceptional cocoa beans herself from the growers to make grand cru chocolates, without preservatives or artificial flavoring. An underground cellar in its own right, with dusty bottles, nooks and carved stone walls... Founded in 1952, this winery is the oldest in Oléron. David Pradère, a passionate winegrower, gave it a new lease of life in 2022 by switching to organic farming. Farming in this way promotes biodiversity, enabling the production of original wines while respecting the environment and creating pleasant working conditions. The welcome is warm, and the products are of the highest quality, whether they be local Charentais wines or the famous pineau.

Ice cream, yes, but homemade! Tante Jeanne's ice creams are made with milk from the owners' Landes farm! A total of 40 flavors of ice cream and sorbet are available from the stand, which has been enlarged to make room for the Cantine gourmande. Italian-style ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, pistachio and passion fruit flavors, and a multitude of ice cream flavors: wild strawberry, tiramisu, apple-raisin, cookies, amarena cherry, blue ice cream... On the road to Ossau-Iraty, take a gourmet break at the farm of Isabelle and Jean-Louis. Located in Orègue, near Labastide-Clairence, the farm is based on 35 ha, of which 25 are reserved for the grazing of animals and poultry, all year long. Manex ewes with red heads for cheese, milk, curds, yoghurts... pigs raised in the open air for salted meats and hams, because here, everything is transformed at the farm which can also be visited. Products in short circuit because we are here adept of the locavorism which is a consumption produced in a radius of 100 km.

La Boucherie des Familles is aptly named, for here you'll find meats selected from Basque breeders and cured meats, as well as the best recipes for local dishes. This veritable beehive of activity, with its adjoining workshop, is teeming with Bayonne hams, sausages, pâtés, beef chorizos, confits, rillettes and a butcher's department featuring fine cuts of beef, lamb sweetbreads, veal... Cooked dishes include crayfish with garlic, gambas with chilli, veal axoa and more. The grocery corner is sure to tempt many with its wide range of products.

They dreamt it, they did it! Chantal and Fabienne opened the first organic grocery store in the village, a stone's throw from the center of Itxassou. And for the past 7 years, local and visiting customers have been coming to discover this establishment that promotes proximity to producers. From watermelons to suntan spray, everything is organic: vegetables, fruit, dairy products, cheeses, groceries, wines, cosmetics, dietary supplements and more. There's also a bulk section and the development of 0-waste products - solid shampoos and toothpastes - and a bread delivery service on Mondays and Thursdays.

With expertise dating back to the ^15th century, Château Mauvesin today belongs to the Barton-Sartorius family, who also own Châteaux Léoville Barton and Langoa Barton, the second and third grands crus classés in the Saint-Julien appellation. Myriam and Arnaud warmly welcome you to the Lolmede biscuit. Whether it is for a gourmet purchase or a gourmet break, everything is planned, a few tables inside or on the terrace allow you to enjoy immediate tasting of the famous products of the house. Frédéric Mouret's family farm harvests untreated walnuts sold under the Noix du Périgord PDO. This organic farm specializes in nuciculture, the cultivation of walnut trees. On-site production of walnuts in shell, walnut kernels and traditional walnut oil, awarded by the Guide des Gourmands (a Coq d'Or awarded by gastronomy professionals), and Saveur d'Or 2021 and Saveur d'Argent 2022 at the Saveurs Nouvelle-Aquitaine competition. Free tours of the farm in summer (please book the day before).

Situated on one of Fronsac's highest points, the Château enjoys one of the best exposures in the appellation and a breathtaking view of the Dordogne. The Cru (La Truffière) owes its name to the presence of truffle oaks. This wine is a subtle blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
