Monuments to visit Midi-Pyrénées

This endowment fund intends to preserve, enhance and animate the City of Carcassonne. Founded by passionate Carcassonnais, this initiative develops projects mixing popularization and innovation, in connection with heritage, art and the center of living medieval history and the language institute. Their 1st action dates from 2017 with contemporary casts of gothic gargoyles. Operating on the basis of patronage, the collective is based in the heart of the Hôtel de la Cité.

Featuring a bar, this red velvet-clad venue offers a varied program of concerts and comedy shows. Le Rex also offers privatization services for special events.

Apart from a th century sauveté, Sérillac Castle dates back to the end of the th century. In an austere style, he has been enrolled in Historical Monuments since 2002. It was repeated many times, having suffered from wars of religion and desertion. Today, its park and its housing (in the course of restoration) can be visited in season. You will see lou, rocky spur, near the th century, the courtyard of honour, common, two wings (in fact, medieval tours tours), genoese of three rows, facade of classical style, pediment and French ceilings.

Completed in 1805, the domain of Argentens was commissioned by a Bordeaux trader enriched by his trade. From Egypt's return style, you can see a panoramic wallpaper room returned in the original state (beginning of) listed in the Historical Monuments inventory. But we should not forget a very interesting park, because it planted at the same time as the house was built and teeming with rare species.

Patrick de Lary de Latour is mayor of the commune he has been named after since 2001. But he is also squire de Recycle-Latour! He has completely renovated his castle (with his wife!), who has been in his family for over six centuries. La Place de la Libération is a place for this magnificent building, witness to the different architectural periods that changed the appearance of the city. Elements of the Renaissance, Richelieu railings for the belfry, and above all, for the notified eye, these numbered stones numbered, marked by the distinctive signs of the Companions.
