The Vaour dolmen is the most visited megalithic monument in the Tarn department. It can be found just 2 km from Vaour, in the direction of Saint-Antonin. Its popularity stems from several factors. Firstly, it's the largest dolmen in the Tarn, measuring 4 metres long by 2.90 metres wide. Secondly, it is the best-preserved dolmen in the region. Classified as a historic monument, the dolmen is still standing, despite more than 5,000 years of history.
