Here, local suppliers are preferred. Flours are made at the Decollogne mill in Aiserey, in Côte-d'Or. This true artisan miller has been offering exceptional flours since 1840! For their part, the "Atelier du boulanger" shops, located in different parts of Dijon and its agglo, offer you a warm and industrial decor made of noble materials such as iron, stone and wood. L'Atelier du Boulanger makes and kneads about twenty specialties according to traditional recipes. The workshop's wand is part of the house's success and is made from Label Rouge flour. This appellation guarantees in particular the use of wheat carefully selected for its baking quality and the absence of insecticide treatments during the storage phase of these latter. You can also find a wide range of organic and special breads. You will have understood, L'Atelier du Boulanger's shops offer their customers excellent products in keeping with traditional rules!

Miserouley or the Thousand and a Sweet sweet… Their delicious bread is sometimes fanciful with its variations to the grapes, in the county, as well as the famous wood-fired miseroulette. The pastries are very tasty and delicious! We appreciate the individual parts and the sweet and crisp cakes and cakes. And for those who prefer the salted, note that on Friday evening, the house makes pizza to the tender and fleshy dough, moeleuse and crunchy…

We've fallen in love with this pretty downtown bonbonnière, with its solid reputation. You look at the window with the eyes of a child at all the delicacies on display and the poetic staging. And as soon as you step through the door, the magic happens. Caramels, candies, chocolates, almonds, macaroons, calissons, teas, honey and other delicacies, including the famous mâconnaise wafer, are available to taste on the spot or to take away. The smell of sugar and the sight of bonbonnières filled with pretty colors are a temptation to crime that's hard to resist.

The showcase of this artisan chocolate maker presents a direct view of the laboratory and invites you to enter a gourmet universe. Chocolates have made Christophe Ragueneau's reputation. Effectively assisted by his wife Carole, he offers you very elegantly distinguished fine chocolates and collections made in original home-made moulds. In addition to the delicious chocolates, the house also offers Italian ice cream and homemade sorbets when the weather is fine. The house is venerable and it is an address that never ceases to surprise us!

AU PAIN DE MON GRAND-PÈRE

Bakery

26 reviews
Open - Close to 19h30

A small queue at rush hour: the success of this bakery is not only due to its beautiful location but also to the continuous flow of fresh bread. Faithful to the entire chain of the same name, the Dijon bakery produces quality bread whose flours are mostly organic. The breads with a crispy crust are reminiscent of the breads of bakeries of yesteryear with the sweet scent of fresh sourdough. Beaujolais bread, bread made with chestnut, rye, honey and hazelnut flour, spelt crown... Whether traditional or special, the baker who makes them prefers wholemeal flours and sourdough dough; he likes to praise the quality of his suppliers and the care taken in baking. Moreover, the formulas proposed at lunchtime are convincing: burgers and other varied sandwiches or generous quiches are added to a pastry for copious lunch breaks. A beautiful address for beautifully made products.

Situated in the shopping and pedestrian district of Les Godrans, the Roy René shop is a small treasure trove of delicacies. Karine's welcome is friendly! With an inimitable recipe based on Cavaillon melons, candied orange peels and Provence almond powder, dozens of flavours and products have been created. You can select your calissons and nougats, aiming for bold flavours or preferring the famous calisson to the Black Burgundy blackcurrant. The packaging is always very neat: it's good to know if you want to give a gift of a variation of coloured calissons. The syrups are also to be tasted, especially the almond one! Not Burgundian but so good!

Open - Close to 19h00

Bon Jour Bon pain is a quality bakery where it is easy to make a stop to refuel. Located on Avenue du Drapeau, access is nevertheless very easy thanks to a large car park located just in front of the shop. Thierry Sallin and his partner are passionate people who are committed to offering the best to their customers. To satisfy your sweet tooth and your requirements, they have even created a unique baguette in Dijon: the Petrisane. Its dough ferments for nearly 12 hours and the manufacturing secret is well kept.... The result is delicious! As a bonus, the baguette is crispy and keeps well! Sandwiches, gougères, special breads, pastries, pastries: everything is strictly homemade and made with local flour! Special mention for the snack side which offers delicious sandwiches for lunch break like the one with béchamel mustard sauce, what an originality! Quiches, too, have their followers. For dessert, puddings, brownies and especially plain custards, with fruit, pistachio, coffee, caramel or speculoos are excellent. It is possible to taste them on site because the bakery also has a tea room... We recommend the delicious homemade shortbread (Gerbe d'or recipe) to be discovered as soon as possible, whether they are with speculoos, salted butter caramel, raspberry or Tagada strawberry. A warm and above all a qualitative place to visit as soon as possible!

More than 60 years in the business and an unbroken passion. Mickaël Azouz was French pastry champion in 1988 and world champion in 1989. The good bread of this bakery is part of everyday life and its success goes far beyond the Montchapet quarter! Furthermore, the reception is charming. Prepared with the best raw materials, campaillette baguettes, campaillou breads and seed céraine, you will not allow time to go home to taste them, the temptation will be too strong. Classic, the pastry is mostly very desirable: fig, abundance and company… without forgetting Mozart, the specialty of the house: a black chocolate foam and a burnt cream with orange. There has also been a series of meringues who only sought to be eaten. The Little Mozart gives in the salty version with some pies, including the one to the Noix nuts and the famous Dijonnaise (county, tomato, mustard). With regard to pastry, we are pleased to report after having gôuté two delicious specialities: The Cappucino, creamy vanilla coffee version, hum, too good and the Dijonnaise in the field of bavrois that makes it wonderful with the association praline pistachio and Bavarian cassis! A real treat! No change in bakery, bread is always excellent! A good address.

It's been 20 years since Olivier Bourau is here! His pastry of Nuits-Saint-Georges opened in 1998 after his teacher was educated in various houses in France and England. Once in his shop, he created a real paradise for gourmets! In this way, it offers a wide choice of delicacies sold at a single price, which can be quoted as choco-cassis, which consists of a black chocolate foam and a casculoos foam, and the foam foam to the caramel and pears, apples and cinnamon that will delight you! The map evolves with the seasons and offers the best. Chocolate side, if black black bears bring back to childhood the others offer beautiful discoveries with, for example, chocolates from Madagascar or Venezuela. For a good time, go to the tea room which is comfortable and allows you to taste good things with a tea selected among 90 references. Finally, the Bourau pastry offers you a e-shop on its site! What better than celebrating a birthday around a good cake!

Among our favourite bakeries, there is always the bakery of Aude and Louis Tortochot, who are constantly modernising the great classics of the bakery-pastry industry. From desserts to sandwiches, everything is famous there. The products are selected to offer only the best and the traditional recipes are constantly revisited. This results in new products such as the Xcube, a plain bread with candied oranges, raspberry and praline twists, or the croissant with speculoos. Not forgetting classics such as the Nanterre. Delicious!
