Built in 1928, the Saint-Dézery winery is strategically located between Nîmes, Alès, Uzès and Anduze. A true island of Camargue nature spread over 39 hectares, the Grand Corbière estate recently changed its name to Domaine Terres de Sable. But it is still a major sand wine production site. This mythical estate was taken over in 2019 by the Leygue family, passionate about the subject, who dreamed of owning their own estate. It is thanks to a very fertile soil, made of siliceous sands, limestone and thanks to a marine micro-climate, that the grapes can ripen in this unique natural environment in France.

This beer cellar isn't very old, but it's already setting the standard. Located between the Place Questel and the Carré d'Art, in an elegant setting of sumptuous woodwork and moldings, the enthusiastic sales staff offer 500 references of mainly local beers. This is macaron heaven, and Anthony Marandon is the ace in the hole. After a career as a cook, this chef channels all his talent into pastry-making. As a result, he creates over fifty flavors of macaroons, fresh from the oven every day, including a whole range of ephemera that changes with the seasons, like black truffles for example, since we're in his capital. Savory flavors, such as foie gras or tapenade, sit alongside chocolate raspberry or chestnut cream. In the colorful boutique, you can watch the production process in action.

On the Costières de Marguerittes plain, this family-run business covers 8 hectares. Poultry and pigs are raised here, all in the open air, and the produce is processed on the farm. Charcuterie (pâtés, chipolatas, boudins) is processed on site, while cured ham and sausages are matured in the drying room. In the land of pebbles mixed with yellow sand and red clay, the Clément estate has been producing and vinifying beautifully expressed red and rosé wines in the Costières de Nîmes appellation for four generations. In 1936, the grandfather came down from the Cévennes with his herd of goats in search of a mas. He arrived at Saint-Nazaire-des-Gardies and saw a large, hundred-year-old oak tree near the Mas des Cabrières. He decided to stop there and when he woke up, his goats refused to get back on the road because of the summer heat. He walked up to the farmhouse and met the owner, who offered him a glass of wine and the chance to sell him the place. Since that day, and now for 5 generations, the Pitot family has worked the vines.

Created in 2001, Nicole and Alain Prunet's vineyard is cultivated entirely in organic farming, in clay-limestone soils on the hillside. Their son Lionel works on structured products, top-of-the-range wines, based on a "symphony of grape varieties", traditional vinification and small yields. The Lirac, Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays du Gard appellations are made from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, Merlot, Chardonnay, Clairette, Sauvignon and Bourboulenc grapes.

Their specialty is croquant, a crunchy, tasty cake. You can choose to eat in or take away, but they don't offer a delivery service. In addition to this main address, Maison Villaret has other bakeries in Nîmes.

The Lirac appellation covers 4 communes, Lirac, Saint-Géniès-de-Comolas, Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres and Roquemaure, which represents barely 750 hectares of vines. The slopes of the Lirac AOC are planted in a scrubland, bathed in sunlight, which concentrates the fragrances in the berries. The terroir, a mixture of limestone, siliceous and sandy soils, gives these wines a powerful and fine side. In the salt marshes of Aigues-Mortes, ten salt workers perpetuate a tradition handed down from generation to generation, managing the movement of the water according to the weather. It is in summer, when the wind stops blowing, that millions of salt crystals form on the surface of the water. The salt workers then come to harvest the Fleur de Sel de Camargue manually. You can visit the salt pans on foot, by bicycle or by train and even participate in the harvesting of the Fleur de Sel. The estate is located at the foot of the Cevennes mountains, in a natural environment conducive to the cultivation of vines and the production of high quality wine. Owned by the Fesquet family for over a century, the estate produces wines from the Cévennes and Languedoc regions with great character. In 2006, the heir to the family and current owner, Emilien, decided to create his own private winery in order to have more control over his wine making.

Since 1998, Carole and Fabien Jeanjean have been committed to producing organic quality oil and tapenades. Their flagship product is Nîmes PDO olive oil, but they also produce oils from aglandau and bouteillan, as well as some highly original aromatic oils: try the thyme and garlic oil, and the cep and basil oil! Our expertise has been rewarded with three medals at the 2018 Concours Général Agricole de Paris for our Marcel, Hugo and Les Capitelles cuvées.

The Château de Montfrin, built on this mound of earth and rock overlooking the village, produces organically grown oil (AB label since 2010). 120,000 olive trees are planted on this hill, which was once a refuge for animals fleeing the recurrent floods of the intrepid Gardon river. Grouped together in a union oléicole, the site's producers offer 3 oils. Moulin des Ombres (the estate's flagship oil), Château de Montfrin (a predominantly "arquebine" blend) and Petit Château (a predominantly "petit ribier" blend).

Welcome to the Domaine Chanoine Rambert, in the heart of the Cèze valley! Here is a small family estate that combines the discovery of a vineyard, wine tasting, hiking in the middle of nature and accommodation in a guest house in a pretty farmhouse of character. What more could you ask for? On the vineyard side, the estate cultivates 17 hectares of Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays du Gard. At the crossroads between Occitania and Provence, this cellar, the first wine cooperative, was created in 1937 and is still in operation. It brings together 90 VINE GROWERS who, with grape varieties of syrah, grenache blanc and noir, mourvèdre, cinsault and more, produce the historic TAVEL rosés and LIRAC Crus, as well as Côte-du-Rhône and Côte-du-Rhône Villages. The tasting room also hosts exhibitions and festive events at this site, which was classified as a historic monument in 2013.

Maison Sinnae is the new name for the renowned Laudun-Chusclan, which brings together 200 cooperative winegrowers. This change took place in 2019 for a vineyard that wants to reconnect with its Gallo-Roman past. During the summer months, a stop at this bachique space is all the more justified as you can wander around the surrounding area and take advantage of the various events on the calendar, including afterwork aperitifs, tasting or gastronomic evenings, or even concerts. This dynamic winery also organizes the annual Vendanges de l'histoire in October.

Established for 20 years, Henri Nicolas is a specialized caterer in home catering services (weddings, business meals, lunches and cocktail parties). He can insure 200 to 400 meals and move with a mobile kitchen, the servers, the crockery and all the equipment to pass a reception. From entrance to dessert, everything is home. A duck specialist and his derivatives, Henri also offers dishes such as the bison civet or juicy of gambas stuffed with small vegetables. The estate offers two names depending on the range: Mas Montel for Pays d'Oc wines, Mas Granier for AOC Coteaux du Languedoc. Manduel, which has other domains to discover, has nevertheless found its master. It must be said that the Marès family is well versed in wine production. Cyril has been to the United States and Chile but has not lost his attachment to the land where he was born. And his knowledge shapes small jewels in a narrow range that concentrates the aromas. The tradition cuvée is available in three colours, made of syrah and grenache for the red, roussanne, white grenache and viognier for the white or grenache, syrah and cinsault for the rosé.

Atypical in the heart of the Costières de Nîmes, Château Beaubois is atypical thanks to the microclimate it enjoys overlooking the Scamandre pond. A coastline on the edge of the sandy wines, but which does not have the superficiality of it while retaining a small iodized taste specific to wines facing the Mediterranean. Owned by the same family for several decades, the Domaine de Roux covers some 20 hectares surrounding the Château de Roux, built in the 17th century by the ancestor of the current owners. This torréfaction house, opened since 1918, is a family business like one like them: serious in all.
