Since 1977, Nîmes cinephiles have had just one address: Le Sémaphore. This local cinema, a veritable cultural center, shows independent films in VO, documentaries, children's films... In its 6 cinemas, you can see a number of French and international films, both topical and less so. The cinema regularly organizes thematic mini-festivals and previews, often in the presence of the director, author or actor. The cinema houses a cafeteria serving homemade tarts, salads and desserts every day!

For once the Bureau is not moving backwards… Franck'has been managing the bar for four years. In this brasserie in the very beautiful décor, many atmospheres blend. Professional customers in the week and during the day, place of exit for a part of youth "in the evening, and family on weekends, there are for all ages. On the map, calf's paupiette in the county, beans and leeks, or grilled ham, rice and piperade. The office also has a wide selection of wines and a wide range of beers. A brasserie without prétention, frills and like you love them. Please do not confuse this place with the old "At the Office", which is now a concert pub called the "London Tavernel".

This wine and beer bar is located on a small quiet square where a good part of the terrace is spread out. Inside, it looks like a large tavern made of red briquettes, cement tiles on the floor, a large counter with 5 Belgian beer pumps and 30 homemade beers and wine barrels everywhere for decoration. They organise concerts on some Fridays. And for a better feast with friends, Jérémy also offers boards to share, baked camemberts with dried fruit or herbs and desserts for gourmets.

After wine bars, beer and mineral oysters, here comes the age of the oxygen bar, the latest avatar at the trendy cafés. So connected that obviously it likes many gay guys and their friends! In Nîmes, it was on the Esclafidous Square that this new trend blew the idea to Salim Watwat, the manager of the establishment. From the entrance, we discover the oxygen machines, the kinds of large central units equipped with a casque helmet… No, no, you're not intubé and you don't think one second to a hospital, which is complicated! For maximum efficiency, the session lasts 20 minutes, a moment of relaxation, where you can gently breathe fresh air from oil smell essential to assainissantes properties. Of course it does not replace a real air bowl but certainly boosts it! The O 2 LA is a bar-restaurant that benefits from the inventiveness of a chef who has worked at Alexandre (traditional traditional menu with fresh products). Another reason to go? The hotel was very close to the city Centre and the city centre. You breathe!

Everything is said in the name of the establishment. Here, jazz is king! In the background, always. Especially on weekends, with the arrival of regional jazz groups (free entry generally). If the place is only open 3 days a week, it prefers to offer quality rather than quantity and the owner, passionate about this musical trend, has made his choice (a choice we totally approve of, by the way). Better to swing less often but better, one could say... Which of course does not prevent you from having a drink or even a meal.

An urban planning project created a few years ago, Place Montcalm is a good fit for this neighborhood bar. Les Deux Mondes was able to install its large terrace on the central median and on both sides of the semi-pedestrian street. As soon as the weather is fine, the brasserie formula at lunchtime or the full salad plates attract a lot of people. Here, no fuss is made, it's a good, relaxed place to eat. The service is pleasant and warm; here you are not rushed to take your coffee and free the place, the key word is enjoy.

Somewhere between Scotland and the Wild West and my "cabin in Canada" with walls made of logs, you'll spend an evening out of the ordinary in this former hangar transformed into a cosy bar. Seven axe-throwing lanes and a shuriken lane let you test your lumberjack skills with your friends! The darts here are razor-sharp. Charcuterie and cheese boards, Meduz and Triple A beers and local wines such as Cave Saint-Maurice's Temps de châtaignes accompany your evening, along with imported Canadian beers.

Le Barberousse is the night rendezvous for rum lovers. At this famous pirate ship's buccaneering port of call, you'll be able to enjoy some 50 different flavors served in shooters: pineapple, banana, coconut, strawberry, ginger, lychee, kiwi, blueberry, vanilla-cinnamon, fir or even licorice, by the glass or bottle, there's something for everyone until late at night. The bar also serves traditional planters, a speciality of the West Indies. An address to be frequented in moderation, but ideal for the first student parties.

Simon and Bastien Villaret, brothers and co-managers, opened this Italian craft Glacier at two steps from the Arena in May 2016. After a stay in Italy where they discovered Italian ice-creams, the two brothers decided to operate a professional conversion by opening a homemade glacier coffee. All Italian coffees are represented from Lavazza to cappuccino through the macchiato latte. The artisanale, artisanale, is made home for the feast of all, to be tasted in bags or sorbets. These are made with fresh seasonal fruits and all creams include whole milk, good fresh cream and 100% natural, gluten-free scents, please from Italy. A small Alpine landscape in the heart of the Roman "is not missing!

Bowling d'Alès is packed with fun and entertaining activities for all ages. Whether you're looking for a drink in good company around a pool table or bowling alley, or an experienced bowler looking for new experiences, this is the place to be! On the premises, you'll also find a bar and a restaurant at mini prices, perfect for a bite to eat between games. There is something for everyone, from brewery beers to local wines and more than 400 references of craft beers from around the world stored in the store.

Like any good neighborhood bar, the Petit Moka opens early. All the morning people appreciate this first step around a pure arabica from the four corners of the world. In this bar, tea room-restaurant, more than 70 teas are offered, but also herbal teas and old fashioned chocolates. At noon, there are pancake/salad, salad/meal or even raclette formulas in winter. Special mention for the Wednesday tagine, the continuous service and the daily press and magazines at disposal. Beautiful terrace opening on the Place aux Herbes.

A family saga for over 60 years, the Pantel is the neighborhood bar that merged with the adjoining tobacco shop. With his relaxation, where portraits are translated, texts to be interpreted at the top time, public readings, cabaret at Kurt Weil, staggered concerts, Compagnie Subito brings a user-friendly dimension, which contributes to its reputation. Sitting around the tables as in the bistro or setting along the walls, spectators (one hundred more) take place and necessarily talk to each other. Here we cultivate the love of words, music, bloody polar or rock history. Totally atypical like the beginnings of shows announced at 19 h 23 sharp: after, we close the doors to respect the actors and the comfort of the visitors.

Superb setting that this large house with its garden in the house of Veterans and war victims. A few nights a year, especially during the férias, the Alhambra transforms into the nicest star of nîmoises wineries. You can come to a band to dance or simply take a quiet drink, because the vastness of the place always allows for a nice little corner to chat.
