This day paved with salmon in sorrel sauce for a smooth starter, followed by a veal chop creamed with maple turnips and small vegetables, the veal juice was just perfect! Special mention for the crackling cabbage and candied kumquats, a mix of absolutely divine flavours and textures! A table to discover for sure.

The chef, Jérôme Hunchback, was elected Mister Univers in 2014 in body-building. In La Traviata, the kitchen is equally strong. Fast, efficient service, plates are well fitted and menus at reasonable prices. An address that counts many people who enjoy the quality of service, simple and tasty dishes and a warm and family atmosphere. On the menu: There are many pizzas (more than 25 garnitures offered!) especially generous and wood fired. You will also find large salads, Italian-style pasta (penne, lasagna, gnocchis…), bruschettas but also cooked dishes (Italian beef, Milanese steak, tender tender…). Located at the foot of the church of Milly- Lamartine, Auberge de Jack, labelled Table de Pays, is pleasant since 1982 restaurant managed by Sylvie and Jacques Bouschet. Lovers of cinema, they decorated their inn with numerous posters with movies. Inside, the hostel can accommodate about sixty guests and terrace, in the summer, twenty people. In the kitchen, Jacques or Jack, does not make his cinema. It offers local cuisine in a family atmosphere in traditional surroundings and old bistro tables. Jacques prepares his terrines, snails, his sauces and chooses local suppliers. Thus, the meat comes from the Plug, Pierreclos sausages and cheeses from Tramayes. On the steps of Lamartine, whose birthplace is set at the end of the street, you will enjoy home cooking and tasty: sausage with roasted mustard sauce, grilled steak, veal kidneys with cream, snails and cold meats. Every midday Thursday, the house is pot-au-feu Charolais in winter. The wines are region: Mâcon-Chaintré, Mâcon Milly-Lamartine for the white, Juliénas, Morgon and Saint-Amour for the reds.

Here is a family and authentic restaurant as we would like to discover more often. In the small village of Serrières, Dirose has become an institution in the region. Quality local products are to be discovered here as well as specialities such as calf's head or frog's legs. If the setting remains simple, the cuisine is truly delicious and everything is homemade, with great generosity. If you are tempted by the homemade terrine, for example, it is not just a simple piece that is brought to the table but the whole terrine, in its terracotta dish. A must for lovers of good food and a festive atmosphere. Group and children welcome.

A good address and very good value for money. Located at Place Lamartine, the cafe-restaurant La Nation delights both the inhabitants of the region and passing tourists. The decoration is modern and neat, its large bay windows enlighten the spacious rooms of the restaurant. Its fine staircase leads to the room on the first floor in the centre, a magnificent chandelier shines in the evening. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is very professional. You will find on the menu regional specialities, pike perch fillet, Burgundy snails or beef bourguignon with Charolais meat. The salads are copious and the dishes presentation is particularly neat. In summer, the large terrace is a beautiful relaxation area where it is pleasant to enjoy your coffee or your lunch.
