In early 2024, La Billebaude, Givry's flagship address, closed its restaurant section to focus solely on its beer bar side. From now on, the entire establishment will become a beer and wine bar. Bruno Fabris, the owner, has decided to offer a small number of wines, but to rotate the references, partly from the Givry appellation. As for beers, a hundred or so mousses, mostly from Belgium, are still on the menu.

L'Espace des Arts, well known to the people of Chalonnais, has been a Scène nationale since 2006. Recently renovated and enlarged to provide better conditions for artists in residence and audiences, the venue offers a rich cultural program all year round, in its comfortable 850-seat auditorium or in other venues. Dance, theater, concerts, circus and children's shows are usually sold out. A bar and restaurant area is open one hour before and after each performance, but it's best to arrive early.

"Chez La Louise", well known to Clunis locals, has become "Chez Louisette" since the summer of 2023, when Laurence Collaudin took over from Paris, where she worked for many years as a restaurateur in organic salons. On the edge of the abbey church, on the pretty square, this simple bistro-tea room rhymes with conviviality. Sweet and savoury waffles are always there, and the new owner also offers dishes exploring a wide range of products and cereals rarely found on the à la carte menu. Kombucha, artisanal ice creams and homemade beverages are also well represented.

You'll want to curl up on the sofas in this tastefully decorated tearoom in downtown Mâcon. You'll enjoy coffee, chocolate, tea and a number of highly original drinks, such as an iced apple-cucumber timut infusion and a mandarin-grapefruit maté. All served in charming cups. As an afternoon snack, you can indulge in home-made pastries, while a savoury menu is available for lunch. In fine weather, the large terrace at the foot of Saint-Pierre church almost makes you lose track of time.

L'Arc is Le Creusot's national stage, offering first-rate shows and events. The annual programs, from September to June, are aimed at all audiences and cover all cultural fields: theater, dance, circus, exhibitions, concerts... As part of its mission to support artistic creation, the Arc also hosts exhibitions and artists-in-residence, and contributes to the democratization of the arts by offering training courses and off-site performances in neighboring towns.

Du vestiaire à la cave is a hybrid place where everyone can find something to their liking. We come here to have a drink with friends or a hot beverage. The wide selection means you can drop in at any time of day. We also take the opportunity to take a look around the store: ready-to-wear for the whole family, accessories, top brands... While some people are browsing in the booth or shopping for gifts, others are lounging on the terrace. Whatever the purpose of your visit, you'll have a great time surrounded by a young, smiling team.

Located in the lively Rue du Châtelet, Chez Maman doesn't go unnoticed. This restaurant and tea room is decorated in candy pink from floor to ceiling, and even outside on the carpeted terrace. You enter a neat, girly worldthat extends, with a great deal of humor, to the menu. The menu is sweet and savoury, with an American flair, led by the multi-flavoured pancake: poached egg, bacon, trout, salted butter caramel, maple syrup... As rare as it is notable in Chalon, you can eat sweet or savoury here continuously until 5pm.

After climbing up to the historic heart of the town of Autun, take a gourmet break in this delightful tearoom with its refined decor. The mother-daughter duo Annick/Axelle provide a truly enchanted interlude. While Axelle puts all her talent into preparing delicious sweets (entremets, viennoiseries, cookies...), her mother Annick serves with a smile. Each season has its own speciality. Here, we work the traditional way, using as many local products as possible. Cream, butter, flour and fruit come primarily from Burgundy.

The living room tutoie the sweet chocolate pâtisserie that provides the tables of the small room and the terrace, so that you can enjoy the qualities of the multiple quiches (lorraine, salmon, spinach, roquefort and nuts, broccoli and chèvre, snails and morels…), the salmon pie (6,30 €) or a block in the crust with green salad (4,90 €). The tray formula includes a green salad, 1 quiche, white cheese and the day pastry. Dessert transforms this simple meal into a feast: the treasure, the Métis, the chef, the delicious craquante… you leave it astonishing (and a little ashamed?). Tea is served as a priority.

More than a wine bar, it's a place of life and meeting, because as the slate says: " Better than Wifi to stay connected with friends there's appetizer ", the tone is given! A small room all along the length of the walls with the charm and the spirit of the bressanes. In the bar you will find pressure, coffee or a glass of wine from the region, among the proposals of the wines of Burgundy or Jura. The Café Prunelle is a bit of a coffee shop as well as, in addition to bottles of wine, the shop counts a large number of shelving filled with books and magazines in which you can easily draw. It is also possible to spend hours in this wine bar, which offers warm wine in winter and where it is possible to break the crust around a pie, a perched ham or tapas for a small sum. On weekends, the bar offers animations to its clients. A nice address!

Dressed all in wood, this pretty room invites you to comfort yourself with a hot drink. Tea time is the busiest time of the year. Customers mingle in a room that's never empty. The drinks menu offers hot chocolate, black, white and green teas, as well as freshly-squeezed fruit. On the solid side, the choice is between homemade crepes and waffles, and for a lunch break there's pasta, savoury galettes, mixed salads and croque-monsieur. We love the smiling welcome and the terrace overlooking the Saône.

Le 88, located on Place aux Herbes, is the city's hottest spot. Momo's good humor is contagious. He always has the right words and ideas to make the place as convivial as possible. A modern dining room, a young clientele, a very large terrace. On tables or barrels, you can enjoy hearty tapas such as camembert persillé or a foie gras plank, followed by pizza, a burger or a generous salmon tartare. The evenings are often enlivened by live music.

Come to Le Voltaire for a relaxing break over a coffee, a creative cocktail, a draught beer or simply a glass of good Mâconnais or Côte Chalonnaise wine, accompanied by a tasty appetizer board. While the days at Le Voltaire are spent to the quiet rhythm of the sounds of the moment, the afterworks and evenings are more festive. On sunny days, the terrace is also a popular spot.
