Located in a small alley in the heart of the historic center, the Caveau de Verdun offers a traditional atmosphere. The menu is rich in fish specialties such as the Verdun pôchouse with five fishes, the pike-perch filet with Crémant de Bourgogne or the famous frog legs, with a choice of parsley, cream or yellow wine. Robert and Alain took over this establishment in 2022, and have at heart to receive their customers in a family atmosphere. Here, one comes to eat local and spend a good time not far from the banks of the Saône.

Dans un cadre simple, une adresse qu'il vaut connaître pour trouver. Mais ensuite c est une très bonne surprise. Outre l'accueil très sympathique teinté d'humour, nous avons découvert une cuisine locale extrêmement savoureuse. C'était délicieux...et copieu. A recommander.

Manque de cuisson sur la majorité des plats, crème brûlée froide.
En plus de cela, le cuisinier s’en est pris aux convives avec agressivité n’acceptant pas la critique suite aux plats qui n’ont pas été consommé…
Je déconseille vivement!
PS: Je tire mon chapeau aux serveurs pour travailler dans ces conditions…
