Situated in the shopping and pedestrian district of Les Godrans, the Roy René shop is a small treasure trove of delicacies. Karine's welcome is friendly! With an inimitable recipe based on Cavaillon melons, candied orange peels and Provence almond powder, dozens of flavours and products have been created. You can select your calissons and nougats, aiming for bold flavours or preferring the famous calisson to the Black Burgundy blackcurrant. The packaging is always very neat: it's good to know if you want to give a gift of a variation of coloured calissons. The syrups are also to be tasted, especially the almond one! Not Burgundian but so good!

Closed - Open to 08h00

This pastry with a history and what a history! Created then taken again in 1900 in 1943, it was transmitted to the children. Crossing the one century which feels at the time of the tasting in particular of Pineapple and Charny which made the notoriety of the house. A know-how outstanding with the service of our delicacy. What would you say of a nun to the café, the chocolate and even to strawberry, of a Carmelite nun (the specialty with blackcurrant), of a lemon pie covered with meringue... presently of the afternoon snack with a good hot chocolate? Besides being extremely friendly and to abound in new ideas, Madame Mourot-Devos has a gourmet characteristic: it is the only one in Dijon to carve the chocolate! Here, you can thus rediscover Dijon and its symbols while pleasing your tastebuds: bear Pompom, nice, snail out of chocolate but also out of gingerbread. The specialties Mourot-Devos are known on the Dijonese place. Originality, control, creation and innovation are the master words. An address to be kept jealously!

Passed down from generation to generation, Benoît Sordet, owner of Domaine Coste-Caumartin continues to keep this 13-hectare estate alive. Concerned about the environment and biodiversity, the estate has obtained the HVE (High Environmental Value) level 3 label, as of the 2019 vintage harvest. This distinction is a guarantee of quality work that allows the vine to flourish. We find among others Saint-Romain, Beaune1er Cru for the whites and in red of Pommard and Pommard 1er Cru of which "Le Clos des Boucherottes", Clos in monopoly. Very beautiful wines raised in oak barrels which develop all their quality in a superb vaulted cellar of the XVIIth century.

The. wine cellar is a pleasure for you. Since spring 2012, new managers Anne and Emmanuel Peulson have brought to the Cellar a renewal of the offer that places this address among the high places of beaunois beaunois. The Cabiote Cellar exclusively selects wine owner wines, the wines are rather high-end, sometimes difficult to buy from the owners themselves. Quality of the selections, there are at least 450 of them, 70% of which are Burgundy, the quality of the board, Emmanuel Peulson your winery, was sommelier but it also has an excellent experience in wine trade, the quality of the wine cellar, because under the shop there is a sumptuous cellar reserved for wine tastings. Professional, Emmanuel only presents in a boutique only the dummy bottles, the ones you buy being carefully kept in the cellar. For those who are familiar, you will have noticed that the windows allow you to see the interior of the Cellar where you can see the wall of the cabiote, this stone hut of our vineyards coast-d-oriens.

One of the great classics of the market, you will find on Eric Léger's stand a beautiful range of pâtés en croûte, from the andouille from the Vosges, ham on the bone which he slices in front of you, roasted white ham with herbs or even cured ham from the Morvan. As for the sausages, there is something for every taste: pure pork from the mountains of Lyon, Beaufort, walnut or wild boar... The welcome reserved for the customers is most pleasant. You will easily spot his stand, overhung by an old-fashioned sign on which a pig is represented.

LE PETIT MOZART

Bakery
4.5/5
26 reviews
Closed - Open to 06h30

The good bread of this bakery is part of everyday life and its success goes far beyond the Montchapet quarter! Furthermore, the reception is charming. Prepared with the best raw materials, campaillette baguettes, campaillou breads and seed céraine, you will not allow time to go home to taste them, the temptation will be too strong. Classic, the pastry is mostly very desirable: fig, abundance and company… without forgetting Mozart, the specialty of the house: a black chocolate foam and a burnt cream with orange. There has also been a series of meringues who only sought to be eaten. The Little Mozart gives in the salty version with some pies, including the one to the Noix nuts and the famous Dijonnaise (county, tomato, mustard). With regard to pastry, we are pleased to report after having gôuté two delicious specialities: The Cappucino, creamy vanilla coffee version, hum, too good and the Dijonnaise in the field of bavrois that makes it wonderful with the association praline pistachio and Bavarian cassis! A real treat! No change in bakery, bread is always excellent! A good address.

Gourmet purchases or decorative purchases, but reasonable and reasoned purchases for sure! It's a discreet store in the rue Charrue, that you could easily miss, but it's an address to remember when you feel concerned about fair trade. All the products presented here are from fair trade. At the entrance, everything is food: chocolates, coffees and teas, spices, some sweets. Think about it for the holidays: if you want to treat your children, you might as well make sure that Santa Claus or the chicken is fair trade (and very often organic). At the bottom, there are decorative objects, jewels and toys, from all continents. We find something to make or to please ourselves by joining the fair trade to the pleasant in proposals for all the purses.

In addition to liqueurs and spirits, the Fagon cellar offers numerous Sicilian references, ranging from cruchon to gift format. It's been 20 years since Olivier Bourau is here! His pastry of Nuits-Saint-Georges opened in 1998 after his teacher was educated in various houses in France and England. Once in his shop, he created a real paradise for gourmets! In this way, it offers a wide choice of delicacies sold at a single price, which can be quoted as choco-cassis, which consists of a black chocolate foam and a casculoos foam, and the foam foam to the caramel and pears, apples and cinnamon that will delight you! The map evolves with the seasons and offers the best. Chocolate side, if black black bears bring back to childhood the others offer beautiful discoveries with, for example, chocolates from Madagascar or Venezuela. For a good time, go to the tea room which is comfortable and allows you to taste good things with a tea selected among 90 references. Finally, the Bourau pastry offers you a e-shop on its site! LES HALLES CENTRALES

3 reviews

It is in this emblematic place of the city centre that one comes to make his market several times in the week. A true historical site, these market halls, designed in 1868 and built a few years later, have an incredible charm. The metal framework inspired by Eiffel constructions, decorated with animal motifs is stunning and forms a choice showcase for gourmet and local products. An anti-morosity effect is guaranteed, because taking the time to stroll through the aisles with your basket is more than just shopping. Les Halles centrales welcome: market gardeners, greengrocers, butchers and poultry farmers, cheese-makers and fishmongers for everyone's pleasure. The early risers and the impatient begin their turn as soon as they open after the coffee break in one of the café counters surrounding the halls; the hive quickly comes alive and the queues get longer. You like the friendly atmosphere and the refreshment area where you can put your shopping bag on the floor while you have a drink or even a snack. The Sunday morning brunch is a must. If 2020 has, due to the health crisis, modified the formula, the idea remains the same. From June to September, chefs take it in turns to propose several dishes in order to create a real gourmet brunch. Set up for the occasion, the halls come alive with amateurs of good food and musical entertainment that stretches until the early afternoon. An experience to be lived absolutely if you are in Dijon during this period!

The novelty: Your grocery store comes home every day from midnight to 4 o'clock in the morning if you're going to have a few beers and a little charcuterie to finish your evening with friends. By the way, Madrange's campagne campagne also goes very well on a big loaf of bread for two-hour eating. A good troubleshooting plan.

MAISON LOUIS JADOT

Winery

17 reviews
Closed - Open to 15h00

The first vines of the Maison Jadot were planted in 1826, three generations of this family succeeded there. In 1984, Jadot became an American property but retained its Burgundian soul. Today, Maison Louis Jadot controls 220 hectares in Burgundy, including 80 in Beaujolais. Since the spring 2013, Maison Louis Jadot has been open to individuals. Its shop is installed in the north of Beaune, in the heart fermenting rooms. The architecture of the fermenting room of Rouges is impressive; it is reminiscent of a cathedral. That of the white, equally large, is more contemporary and contrasting sharply with the previous one. The long raising cave of a hundred metres, houses nearly 4,000 references. The tasting that closes this memorable visit allows you to discover the Louis Jadot wines. The tours are only in small groups; the shop is accessible without the visit.

This family business, which began with Colette and Guy in 1973, has become a must. Pastry chef, chocolatier and ice-cream maker, Alexandre keeps the house's great classics alive while adding a touch of modernity: desserts and chocolate bites, ice-cream, individual cakes... The specialities here are a great credit to the region and more specifically to Dijon, such as the Demoiselles de Bourgogne - chocolate bites in honour of Madame de Sévigné -, snails or Burgundy tiles reminiscent of glazed tiles.
