The Baron d'Espiet cooperative winery (one of the oldest in Gironde) and the Sauveterre-Blasimon winery merged in February 2017. It can be said that Bellevue Castle bears its name. Located in Plassac, at the top of a promontory, it offers superb views of the estuary and its surroundings. The property, built in 1808, is surrounded by 9 hectares of vineyards. 60,000 bottles are produced here each year in red and glazing with a 70% merlot. These wines have not been tarnished for a long time, because in recent years all prices have been trustworthy: Blaye Coast Trophy, gold medals, silver and bronze in the wine Citadels competition…

Carmen and her son Anthony opened their first boutique in Bordeaux's Place Saint-Pierre, followed by a second in Arcachon's Moulleau. Moulin de la Cassadotte is the cradle of farmed caviar in France. The Caviar de Gironde trademark was registered in 1993. During a 1h30 guided tour, you'll first learn about the history of this former flour mill converted to sturgeon farming, and then discover the meticulous craft of sturgeon breeding - a species that looks like a prehistoric creature... At the end of the visit? The long-awaited tasting session and a detour to the boutique to buy some exceptional caviar. Tasting formulas are available all year round, starting at 12 euros.

Aléna is a 120-hectare melanosporum truffle farm based in Aquitaine, producing 3 tonnes of Périgord black truffles a year, which are sold to some of the world's top chefs. It's possible to live the adventure a little closer, by adopting a truffle oak. By subscribing to an adoption contract, you will receive 50g of black Périgord truffles, two boxes of Aléna truffle supremes (one containing 15g of black truffles, the other 30g of summer truffles) and a recipe booklet every year for 3 years.

Château Colbert is a wine estate located in Comps, in the Côtes de Bourg region. The estate's website also provides additional information on the history of the château, the wine produced and the museum.

Behind these two feminine first names, Henriette & Olga, borrowed from their grandmothers, are two friends: Dimitri, a pastry chef by training, and Christophe, a salesman. This family property of 90 hectares is composed of three different vineyards: Château Lépine which produces red Bordeaux in Barsac, Château Mayne du Cros in Loupiac whose vines are spread out in Loupiac, white Bordeaux and red Bordeaux, and Château du Cros in Cérons where white and red gravel are produced. The House of Entre-deux-Mers wines is located inside the remarkable abbey barn classified as a historical monument, at the entrance of the abbey of La Sauve Majeure. Don't forget to admire the superb framework dating from the 16th century. The wine syndicate can thus be proud to present its wines of the AOC Entre-deux-Mers in such a beautiful place. Born in 1937, the appellation gathers 250 wine growers on 1 500 hectares. It produces exclusively dry white wine.

Château de l'Evêché is a wine producer located in Lalande de Pomerol. The estate is planted on a clay-gravel terroir and mainly grows Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. The wines produced are typical of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The estate offers tours by appointment, where visitors can learn about the history of the château and taste the wines. At weekends, tours are available by prior arrangement. Château de l'Evêché also sells its wines online.

Located in Lagorce. Here you can find beeswax candles and different types of honey, such as Ardèche chestnut honey, Ardèche lavender honey and Ardèche white heather honey. The honey mill has an online store where you can place orders. Honey is produced in compliance with food hygiene standards, using stainless steel equipment.

Béarn baker Nicolas Gruel, the 2019 European and French Boulanger champion, and Corsican pastry chef Jean-Philippe Battesti, formerly of Ducasse, celebrated their 2023 runner-up title in France's best bakery competition. It has to be said that these two enthusiasts have a single credo: to make everything in-house from A to Z. At Grain, every loaf of bread and viennoiserie is shaped by hand, following the rhythm of the seasons to use only fresh, sourced produce. Specialties include chestnut and mandarin bread and pistachio and orange blossom tart.

Château Fonrazade is just a stone's throw from the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, in the heart of a prestigious, thousand-year-old terroir classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Open for visits and tastings, this beautiful property adjoins the Premier Grand Cru Classé Château Angélus and produces a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2015. Our oenologists tasted it: "The nose is bursting with fresh red fruit and oriental spices that bring warmth. On the palate, the attack is sustained with crisp, fruity tannins. Lots of freshness.

Anna Escalere and Toarii Cojan have opened Pépin & Pépite, where Anna's great-grandmother and grandmother used to run a hair salon. For the young couple, it will be more wine and gourmet products. But Pépin & Pépite is not a wine cellar like the others. Let's say that it is more intuitive with a shelf completely focused on food and wine pairing (fish, veggie, cheese & dessert...), or even occasions (aperitif). Oyster farmers and producers, Yoan and Chloé Godichaud are based in the oyster village of Cap Ferret. This address had been on our radar for years, but we'd never set foot in it... Tifenn and Mathias' Chalet Gourmand is a veritable Ali Baba's cave of products from the Bassin and the surrounding area.
