Building on its success, La Halle de Pessac has opened a new store in Gradignan. The 300 m² space is packed with fresh seasonal produce from both local and distant producers: over 300 varieties of organic and traditional fruit and vegetables, exotic fruit, dried fruit and more. Added to this are a dozen olive preparations, oils, rare world spices to order, fruit juices, cheese from "chez Pierre", creamery and charcuterie, organic eggs... La Halle offers fruit baskets for all occasions.

Château Pipeau is a red wine of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation. The 25-hectare vineyard has been run by the same family since 1929. The four generations that have succeeded each other have transmitted a know-how that makes this wine unique. Today, it is Richard, Brigitte and Jean - lovers of the terroir - who run the wine estate. The family also owns Château Joinin. A favorite of our oenologists during the blind tasting! A funny name, but a great wine, for sure.

Jean-Philippe Ballanger has created the Moon Harbour brand, a 100% Bordeaux whisky: the cereals are grown in the region, the copper stills are made by a local craftsman, and the aging barrels come from nearby châteaux (Sauternes or red wine grands crus). The tour takes in the raw materials storage area, the vat room, the stills and a bunker converted into an ageing cellar. The tour ends with a tasting of the whiskies, rum and gin also distilled on site.

The temple of Pyrenean gastronomy! The shelves abound with gourmet preserves and jars: foie gras, magrets and confits from Raymond d'Artigues, the full range from Maison Barthouil, organic honey from the Pyrenees... In the fresh produce section, you'll find all the essentials: ham, sausage, Pierre Mateyron black Gascon pork, Bazadaise beef, poultry from Ferme du Rivet, French caviar from Prunier, Neuvic and Sturia... Today, Christophe and Sophie Gouache are the owners of the legendary Château Loudenne, founded in 1670. The first terroir in the Médoc appellation, the vineyard borders the Gironde estuary, and boasts a private port where you can arrive by boat. The services on offer are worthy of the place: tours, tastings, workshops, cruises... The estate covers 132 hectares, including 62 hectares planted with Médoc red, Bordeaux white - the oldest in the Médoc (1880) - and rosé. The vineyard is certified organic in 2022 and HVE level 3 in 2017.

Amandine 1900 is an artisan bakery that bakes organic, wood-fired breads with an inimitable flavor. The different breads - natural sourdough, sesame, cereal, spelt, gluten-free, with a golden, crunchy crust and a thick crumb - are made with nutritious wholemeal flour. For those with a sweet tooth, the viennoiseries - in particular the butter croissant - or the Cramique, a brioche loaf filled with raisins, are to die for.

It's not really a market, it's not a supermarket, it's not a store... it's the Halle de Pessac. It's a real place of life where you can meet and exchange. The products are ultra-fresh and varied: early and organic fruits and vegetables, magnificent dried fruits by weight, trays of raw vegetables for the aperitif, fresh fruit brochettes, beautiful fruit baskets ready to be eaten, etc. On the spot you can also find delicatessen, wines, drinks, preserves, cheeses, creamery, delicatessen...

Located in the Margaux area, between sea and estuary, Château La Galiane has been a family estate for five generations. This 5-hectare estate is made up of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The Renon family, who also manage Château Charmant, are passionate about showing you every aspect of this family-run vineyard. A traditional culture that favors organic fertilizers, reasoned weeding and manual harvesting. A warm welcome in the heart of these vines, some of which are over a hundred years old.

The Halle de L'Alouette is the brainchild of Stéphane Dufour, who is already well known for his market on Avenue Jean-Jaurès in Pessac and the one in Gradignan. He supplies his grocery stores with fruit and vegetables from the Brienne MIN, which ensures optimal freshness and diversity. The products are well presented and organic fans will also find something to their liking. Stéphane Dufour and his team have a great deal of know-how for any specific composition, whether for a dessert, a work meeting, a birthday, a wedding, etc.

Cathy takes over from 7 generations of winegrowers on this estate created in 1850 by a village blacksmith. Passionate and determined, she strives to give her wine a feminine and very personal touch (it is the only vat room in the region painted in pink!). The meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar allows, vintage after vintage, to express magnificently the flavors and the values of this exceptional terroir. In the heart of the property, the château has opened its own guest rooms for 2 to 4 people and a loft "Chai Paulette" for 6 to 10 people.

Formerly owned by the Prince Noir, the estate underwent a facelift in 2010, when the cellars were rebuilt. This Grand Cru Classé is owned by the Boidron family, who began making wine in 1760, following the rhythm of nature. No herbicides are used here, the grapes are harvested by hand. Only batches of perfect quality are bottled at the Château. The wine is kept in an underground cellar. The awards and medals won are the result of this quality of work. The Boidron family is at the cutting edge of new technologies: a visit is a must!

Gathered around the hillside of Calon overlooking the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, Chateau Calon produces a Montagne Saint-Emilion several times medalist. In addition, there are other wines, the Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion, a Saint-Emilion grand cru classé and a Pomerol. Various vintages are available since 1988. Nearby, do not forget to contemplate the two windmills of the XVth century entirely restored, from where one benefits from a splendid panoramic sight. The site of a rare beauty is also a place of takeoff of hot-air balloons.

Château de Pressac, located in Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse, is a winery that welcomes around 10,000 visitors every year. Visitors have the opportunity to discover the magnificent panoramas and the heritage of centuries, as well as the art of vine and wine. The château has received several awards, including the Best Of du Tourisme Silver in 2006 in the "Parks, Gardens and Landscapes" category, the Best Of du Tourisme Gold in 2007 for its architecture, and the Best Of Wine in 2014 in the "Architecture and Landscapes" category. Visits are by appointment only. The boutique offers wines from the estate as well as a selection of wine-related items. In 2020, strict sanitary measures are in place, including the use of hydroalcoholic gel, compulsory masks and social distancing. The château also offers special tours and tastings, as well as buffet tours. Space can also be rented for business events.

Since 1927, the house has built up a fine reputation from generation to generation. It is said that they serve the best ice creams of the Médoc! In the laboratory, the chef, a proud representative of the fifth generation, is very proud of his creations: hazelnuts from the Médoc, speculos with 7 spices... Original flavors for artisanal ice creams that leave no one indifferent. All that remains is to choose! To complicate the task, they also offer delicious waffles and pancakes, to be enjoyed while strolling along the waterfront.

Head straight for the Ribeiro butcher's stall, a family business (owner Joaquim, his wife Maryline, and their two sons), established in Capus since 1988. Here, the meats are of the highest quality, prepared by experienced butchers who know their trade inside out and can advise you on the choice, preparation and cooking of the cuts you crave.
