The museum has many railway equipment: several locomotives, steam or electric are on display as well as railcars, a locomotive trader, trams, buses and trolleybuses. A miniature railway network is also on site, reproducing several emblematic sites of the Tende line. The museum also contains a collection of some thirty road vehicles, buses and trolleybuses, some of which can be rented.

THE HIGH ROAD OF SALT
Read moreThis loop from Tende is a 90 km circuit with a 1,500 m difference in altitude. It crosses Tende, Castérino, the Tende pass, Limone, the Lords pass, Upega, Monesi, Triora and La Brigue. It concerns two municipalities in France (Tende and La Brigue) and 4 in Italy. It can be done on foot, by mountain bike or by 4x4. This walk requires some preparation. Several circuits are possible in 4x4, offering an exceptional panorama. Tuesdays and Thursdays are prohibited for motor vehicles, and a reservation is mandatory for Saturdays and Sundays, the site being limited to 80 vehicles per day and 140 motorcycles or quads. The Haute Route du Sel is governed by regulations designed to preserve the environment and ensure the safety of visitors. The information is posted on panels and available on the website
