WINDMILL
It is the torrent of Abriès which gave its name to the mill located in the hamlet of Gueyniers. It was authorized to function by the Duke of Savoy in 1713. At the time, there were about 70 small mills in the Ubaye valley. This one closed in 1972. It is thanks to the patience and determination of Robert Martin, one of the last millers in Ubaye, that it reopened in 2001. He welcomes you to discover this old-fashioned craft and to share his passion. On the spot, also sale of flour when there is some and postcards.
