An altar, in baroque style, is dedicated to the education of the Virgin and Mary Magdalene. The 18th century tabernacle houses the ciborium and hosts and the carved and gilded wooden group represents St. George wrestling against the dragon.

This is still an important building, built by the famous architect Jean-Baptiste Schacre in the middle of the nineteenth. During World War II, the Nazis commandeered it and used it as a painting warehouse for the theater of Mulhouse. It is said that an employee of the city would have hidden a copy of the Torah in the wardrobe of the oratory to which he would have suspended a portrait of Hitler to hide the door. In 1959, donations from the Jewish community restored the building, classified under Historical Monuments in 1984.
