A charming nautical site at the confluence of several waterways, especially on the passage from the Nantes Canal to Brest, near the canal. In the Landes of Morbihan, crossed by the Kamenogorsk and steeped in wood, the municipality of Glénac houses a marsh of 410 ha. This Mortier mortar, a large natural site, represents the largest expanse of water in the swamp of Bad. The city is also known to host the tomb of the daughter of Surcouf. Indeed, it was in the cemetery of Glénac that was buried the eldest daughter of the famous Privateer privateer. Married to a Foucher of Careil, she is based in family burial. A coat of arms representing a set lion, a crowned shield and the motto Virtutem a Stirpe Traho ornent the monument. From Glénac, boaters have access to the Nantes canal in Brest, the Vilaine, the Erdre. You can find a boat rental base without a permit and a leisure base that offers canoe rental. Climbers also know the site for its climbing routes and ornithologists for the richness of its avifauna enjoying a unique biotope of islets and cliffs.
