(ROZ-LANDRIEUX) Situated in the country of Dol-de-Bretagne, this small commune has its name from the Breton «ros» (hill side) and the village of Landrieux. Roz-Landrieux and Vildé-Bidon are branches of the former primitive parish of Plerguer. It was in Roz-Landrieux that, in the Fifth Century, the saints Budoc (3rd Bishop of Dol to Ve) and Caradeuc were born.
