The birthplace of ocean-going captains, this former fishing village has preserved the charm of its winding, narrow streets around its 17th-century bell tower. This perfect spot for family vacations has been loved by painters. Henri Rivière, Renoir, Emile Bernard and Paul Signac all stayed here, even though the resort was snubbed by Picasso, who vacationed in Dinard in the 1920s. With water sports on its 10 beaches and numerous walks along its footpaths, Saint-Briac becomes a popular seaside resort in summer! The commune is also home to the historic Dinard golf course.
