Established on the edge of the Roman track leading from Alet to Nantes by Dinan, the territory of Trévron is initially a dependency of the parish of Plumaudan. The first mention of Trévron as parish of the Diocese of Saint-Malo dates back to 1254, but it was already in the year mil Ecclesia Sancti Laurenti de Trevron. It depends on the Royal Abbey Saint-Magloire of Léhon. Trévron elected its first commune in 1790 but was connected to the Hinglé in 1792. It nevertheless regained its autonomy in 1847.
