The commune of Pleslin-Trigavou is the result of the association of these two communes. It has preserved vestiges of ancient human occupation. In Pleslin, the Champ des Roches, Brittany's third-largest megalithic site, attests to the presence of man as early as the Neolithic period (around 4,000 years ago). In Trigavou, the discovery in 1847 of one hundred bronze axes, dating from the Bronze Age (around -3,000 years ago), also indicates a distant human presence. This megalithic site, along with Champ des Roches, includes a druid cemetery with no fewer than sixty-five menhirs. An "Ecobourg" is currently under construction.
