Travel Guide Grand Bourgtheroulde

On the border of the Seine-Maritime and the Eure, in the heart of the Roumois plateau, the charming town of Bourgtheroulde reveals a fascinating history. After passing through the hands of Théroulde, a Viking descendant, the village was sold to Guillaume Le Roux at the very end of the 15th century. From its rich past, the town has preserved a number of thatched cottages, a few castles and the former home of Hector Malot, who grew up here.
