A stopover on the magnificent C-61, which winds through the mountains and dodges down to the sea, this mountain village bathed in pure air and surrounded by green hills is a true haven of peace. Along its main street there are two bars, a few shops and a lovely guest house, Casa Can Martí. If you stop off there, take the opportunity to make a detour through the information centre and get the maps of the hiking routes. Vallgorguina is located in the Montnegre and Corredor Park, with countless trails suitable for walkers and mountain bikers. It is also one of the favourite sites for Nordic walking enthusiasts, such as mushroom pickers, in season. Not to be missed: the dolmen of Pedra Gentil.
