At the entrance to the middle course of La Tordera, at the eastern end of the Vallès Oriental, Sant Celoni is located between two parks: the Montseny Natural Park, to the north, and the Montnegre and Corredor Park, to the south. The area of Montseny is dealt with in this chapter, and that of Montnegre i el Corredor in the following chapter. Sant Celoni is therefore referred to here as the reference point for the Baix Montseny.Heading north, the magnificent BV-5114 road, which winds its way up to Santa Fe del Montseny, allows us to observe the different types of vegetation in the natural park. There are many possibilities for hiking! Sant Celoni is a very extensive town, divided into various urban centres, including Sant Celoni and La Batllòria. A self-guided route through the historical centre of Sant Celoni also invites you to discover the town's heritage. On Carnival Sunday, the people of Sant Celoni celebrate the traditional "Gypsy Ball", a not-to-be-missed event!
