At the gates of Montnegre i el Corredor, this micro village in the Mogent valley culminates at 640 metres to the Catalan coastal cordillera. Formerly called Trentapasses ("the thirty steps"), in reference to the short distance that separates it from its neighbour, Llinars del Vallès, it marks the junction between the Montseny massif and the coastal cordillera, on the pass of the "thirty steps", at an altitude of 200 metres. As well as the neo-Romanesque church of Santa Maria, located in the centre of the village, you can visit the old church of Vilalba Sasserra, hidden in the heart of a fragrant pine forest. On the way to Ca l'Adrià (parallel to the C-35), look out for the remains of the oldest vestige of the municipality: the "pedra Arca". At the foot of a pine tree, this megalithic ruin dates from the late Neolithic/Copper Age. In the centre of the village, a good little chiringuito awaits you to break the seed.
