This picturesque village has preserved its medieval character, which is why it regularly hosts medieval festivals attracting large crowds. The low stone houses have been successfully restored after the earthquake of 1980. With their ogival windows, their trap doors, reminders of old shops, and their sculpted thresholds, they give the village a lot of appeal. Clinging to its rock, the castle, in a partial state of ruin, dominates the whole. The pretty village square is shaded by a centuries-old lime tree: planted at the time of the Parthenopean Republic (in 1799), it is a symbol of freedom.
