Kibbutz HaGoshrim was founded in 1948 by Jews from Turkey. It is located 6 km east of Qiryat Shmona, alongside many rivers including the Jordan, Dan and Hermont Streems, and Hurshat Tal National Park.It is also the junction point between Route No. 99 (Qiryat Shmona - Golan region) and Route No. 918, parallel to Route No. 90 (Rosh Pina - Qiryat Shmona). Route No. 918 serves several kibbutzim: Gado, Gonen, Lehavot HaBasha, Shamir and Kfar Szold.
